Pure Life Yoga: Meditation & Restorative Yoga:
This class is about coming together in community to heal, retore lost parts ourselves and grow as we move forwards. Meditation and restorative yoga is a peaceful yin-based class that is mostly focused on deep relaxation through the art of meditation combined with yoga poses and breath exercises that are ancient and timeless ways of resetting the nervous system. Restorative yoga is all about the nervous system, the spine, and the breath. During this deep rest we create more life within ourselves for the body and every system of our being needs intentional rest in order to heal. We can't fix a problem with the same energy that created it so we get quiet enough, long enough to create new and intention energy around ourselves that will heal us over time. We rest into the poses long enough to create a healing response through the Body, Mind and Soul that will carry over into every other aspect of our lives. In this class we learn to clear our mind and find more peace, clarity, purity, and security. Although this can be a challenging class as we hold poses for long period of time than you might be used to, it truly is the path to deep inner healing. With restorative yoga any lost pieces of ourselves do begin to return to us while we rest. In restorative yoga we integrate plus restore lost aspects of ourselves and instead move into completion as well as wholeness.
